Stepanie, we get lots of different range depending on the apps that we are running. For the most part we can get through an entire day, but a lot of that is because I personally close apps when I am done using them (at least things that I know are connected to the internet all the time). Play around with different apps to see which ones might be causing the battery life to go out quicker...then our suggestion...leave a review on their app in the catalog, hopefully the developer will fix the problem. Although we hope to see some battery improvements in the next version of the OS Palm is releasing, most of it depends on the apps you are running.

Showing the reviews would be great, as I have no access to the app catalog to see them for my application.

FYI, some of the statistics are pretty horribly misleading. For example the FlightView app was originally free, but has only recently become a paid app at $4.99. Yet this calculates the revenue for the app based on 142k downloads, the vast majority of which generated no revenue.

FYI.

Thanks for the info. The only patch I installed was to get the count info for my apps. I have a question though (curiosity really). Now that the catalog is out of Beta, how many early developers are/were there?

Thanks A LOT for this site! I have a German Pre so I was unable to see my paid app in the App Catalog ... until now!

Would it be possible to also include the reviews on your site? It's very unfortunate for me that I cannot see the reviews postet about my app.

[...] Developers who signed up with Palm to receive the SDK but who were not yet part of the pre-release program received e-mails today inviting them to participate in the developer program before it goes live in December. We have heard from internal Palm resources that they’ve got a good handle on the app process and should be able to process apps without the long delays that some developers have seen. If you want to know more about developing apps for webOS, check out webOS 101 or watch the videos of webOS School’s sessions at Iowa Code Camp. [...]
